YEVU is a business with purpose based between Sydney and Ghana.
Since its inception, YEVU has aimed to create jobs and generate income to economically empower the women we work with.

YEVU does this by working in collaboration with female micro-producers and artisanal manufacturers in Ghana’s informal sector. By providing these women with a better and more sustainable income, YEVU is not only changing the lives of the women they work with but ultimately provides access to improved livelihoods for her family and immediate community.

YEVU does this by making kick-ass clothing with mind-blowing prints, made from limited edition prints from the marketplace of Ghana as a unique tribute to the West Africa’s spirit.

As their Digital Content Producer /in-house Graphic Designer, I have been driving the development of YEVU’s content and branding since May, 2018 whilst working closely with the Director and Founder of the brand and a Marketing team. We have watched YEVU’s following and sales grow significantly as a result.

My role at YEVU includes creating content for across all digital and social media platforms. This includes their website, Instagram, Facebook, their weekly EDMs, and special events. To create content for these platforms I am responsible for retouching images, designing layouts, creating small animations and GIFs, editing video content and writing copy/researching stories to accompany this content. My role is guided by the Founder/Director of YEVU as I am creating a brand aesthetic to match the tone and voice of the brand as she sees fit.
